What Is Butterfly Pea Tea/Blue Tea?

Butterfly pea flower tea or blue tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by seeping dried leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The flower is commonly used in cooking, baking and drinks and as a natural food colouring. It is deemed magical as it is not only good for you but has a vibrant blue colour that turns pink/purple with a squeeze of a lemon/lime.

SO PRETTY

This Tea is so flippin Pretty!! It only takes like 3 or 4 petals and the vibrant blue really comes to life. And the fact that it changes to a beautiful purple wheb you add I think cold liquid to it? Is so amazing. I'm absolutely in love with this tea.

Definitely a favourite

Absolutely love the Butterfly Pea Flower! It's a definite favourite around our house, we make up a jug at a time to have cold in the fridge, ready to go. 40g doesn't sound like much but the flowers go a long way, so it's actually great value for money and looks super pretty when making fruit teas.
